FHA
Built for first-time buyers and recovering credit. Down payments from 3.5% and more forgiving qualification — in exchange for mortgage insurance premiums over the life of most loans.
VA

USDA
Zero-down financing for eligible rural and some suburban areas — and more of Central Texas qualifies than you'd guess. Income limits apply.
